C.B.T. stands for Cognitive Behavior Therapy. It's a form of therapy that helps people use their thoughts (cognitions) and their actions (behaviors) to change their moods! The father of Cognitive Therapy (which is a part of C.B.T.) is Dr. Aaron T. Beck (A.T.B.) who taught and inspired me. C.B.T. has been shown to be effective in many research studies for depression, anxiety, PTSD, schizophrenia, addiction, and many other forms of mental illness.
